Nigerian Content Policy

It is the policy of TENECON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY to ensure that its businesses are organized, planned, and executed in such a manner as to be consistent with Nigerian Content Directives. To this end TCC LSE will manage its operation in such a way as to achieve the following:

TCC LSE will manage its operation in such a way as to achieve the following:

  • Nigerian content directives.
  • To fully comply with the NCD directives, TCC LSE shall domicile all personnel recruitment activities in-country as well as the location of the Project Management Team (PMT) and Project Procurement Centre (PPC) in-country and carrying out in-country recruitment scope of all personnel required for our client’s project execution.
  • TCC LSE shall show commitment in meeting with the Nigerian Content targets of the Federal Government of Nigeria in achieving above 90% Nigerian Content by the year 2025. In terms of total monetary expenditures through the deliberate utilization of Nigerian human and material resources without sacrificing Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
  • TCC LSE shall also show commitment in increasing the Nigerian Content aspect of its operations by a deliberate addition or creation of value in-county via the capacity building of locals, Technology Transfer Programs, Technology Mentorship Programmes, increasing physical operational presence and investment in Nigeria, creating opportunities for human resources development, development of Nigerian contractors and suppliers and implementing various innovations that will increase Nigerian Content Development in Nigeria
  • The Local Content Advisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy.

The employees of the company must follow procedures and perform their work following this policy. Any activity that in the opinion of an employee cannot be carried out under this policy must be suspended and reported immediately to the relevant supervisor. Line management is responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy.
